Hi guys

I know that jigging is not allowed by law in Southern Moz. My question is this. Is bucktail jigs,squid jigs and dropshot allowed as in some comps, where the rules say no jigging but squid jigs are allowed.

Is This jigging or artlure fishing(using squid jigs,dropshot and bucktails). Is this method of fishing allowed in southern moz.( artlure fishing is promoted in the rest of the world)

I know i am putting my head in a bees nest here. but please some clarification on this matter.

A "squid jig" is a jig. No jigging. However, you can use a chokka/squid jig to catch chokka/squid. That is different.

You can use drop shot (technicality) You can also use spoons. Even heavy ones ;) But there is a problem. You can be fined if they find jigging tackle on your boat. That is if they actually know what jigging tackle is.

Ha Ha ha ( sharp on the squid jig)Bennie thanks dropshot without a jighead ha ha ha. dont want to make to much fuss about it Not into catching squid at present. so will keep with heavy spoons.
