Just a word of advice/info from the South Coast Sealiners,heading out to a

location called Anerley on the South Coast.

Could i please have some advice^^.. on what to target eds or ineds in this area?

Is this spot a deep water area or just rocks or open surf, are there shark nets?

Best baits and spots please guys and also the concern of safety in this area possible night fishing?

Thanks in advance mates::slr::

:welcomesea:Dune, Check out this thread under fishing reports ,I know it says Orange Rocks (brilliant thread btw).Page 18 of the thread from posts 353-369 covers your intended area fairly extensively.

Obviously prevaling conditions will dictate more specifically what you may want to target.Just as an appetiser this was caught there last week on a mullet throw-bait.You will more than likely notice him around the area,and nobody,but nobody knows that stretch of beach better than he does,practically grew up on it.Very friendly very approachable chap ,goes by the name Armand.This was caught after an extensive period (4-5days) of North-east (colder water)

Pleasure Dune, tagged and released 50 odd Grey-sharks off the stretch of beach,obviously over a 300year time-span::S,but yes they do come there on a push,also Browns ,Blue's and Hounds,Shad not as abundant as years ago ,but still pretty good, right/tight next to the rocks in front of the bridge.Anything else just shoot.

Dune,on google the bridge would be immediately in front of the blind river,,,as we speak it is closed up again,which is not bad at all.You can reach the beach in front of the bridge,by walking underneath it from Villa Siesta's side,(resort with the red rooftops,adjacent to the river on the beach),or you can approach the beach from the southern side if you are not residing in the resort.Rocks in the water,on the southern-side ends in line with the inside leg of the southern-most bridge-pylon. No rocks again untill the third railway pole ,counting no 1 from the first pole north of the bridge.Those rocks are between the 3rd and 4th pole ,counting them as explained.Normally there's a nice rip just on the Southern-side of the above 3rd pole.You'll see it clearly.

Fresh Mackies,always good for Greys,and believe it or not 2or3 mushy baby-squids on the same hook (mushy for scent) Anywhere South of the bridge is good for shad and Bronze Bream,you'll see it easily from the terrain.First small gully just south of the bridge ,sometimes good for shad on drift-bait.River holds mullet,net only from the beach-side,plenty rocks that grab your net everywhere else.Now and again to be used as added scent,or live for that matter.

Have fun.
