IT seems that traditionaly angling has been a white mans interest and sport :and taken seriously:, with a few indians coming in at a more social/subsistence level. with the exponential interest and growth shown by non whites, more recently from other racial groups, this would slowly bring along a mixed representativity to the higher rungs of angling. All the best to our South African team,

Blade , traditionally??? methinks u need a wake call bud. Thats ok though , nothing we not use too down here in the WC. Fishing has been part of our lifeblood since before Van Riebieck came ashore. I have pics of my great great grandad where he caught huge kob in CT harbour. Just for interest sake I am not a so called Indian either. I am a so called coloured. Dont worry though, soon the SA and WP team will be full of gamats and Salie's. See u then bud !

Fishing for me is because i love it. but it would be nice to see development programmes from grass root levels to those communities that didnt see a fishing rod before. i know MIDAS in KZn is doing there part in development of the sport to these communities.

Hi Guys

I think LL asked for it earlier, but can anyone attached some names to the faces.  I only know Pierre du Preez and Charl Marais.

Dankie Expat

Tony Dell cleans up nicely.  Never would have guessed having seen him a couple of times on the beach ha ha.
