Hey Bud,
Please tell us more about what is potting here. The site is a big advert for selling your stuff and has no info regarding the cource. I just don't want to pay R500 bucks for someone to tell me I must buy a HDS unit! I also don't have a HDS unit so if it's all about that.. I'm out!
Is the cource a way of selling us stuff we don't need or to convince us we don't have the rite this or that?
Please let us know... If it will improve my knowledge on sounders I will book.

The course will be dealing with the following:-
1. Tips and tricks on getting the most out of your GPS while fishing.
2. Transducers – which one, why, and when to select what.
3. Interpretation – clutter, water conditions, thermo clines, different types of fish, structure, bottom type,
4. Fish arcs – interpretation and understanding thereof
5. Side Imaging – the basics – pro’s and cons.
6. Choosing a sonar / gps
7. Installing a sonar/gps – tips and guideline
8. Know your unit – what, where, how and when
9. Logging sonar data - your PC becomes a very important fishing tool
10. Waypoint and trail management
11. Open Q & A
This is not a branding course – there is something special about every brand – Humminbird, Furuno, Lowrance, Garmin, Raymarine, ………….. You decide what is best for you. You might already have the unit that is just perfect for you, you just didn’t realize it.
Teaching people how to use their equipment to the max and mapping is my primary business. And if you realize that you do need a upgrade, I’m happy to supply you with one rather than turn the business away.
