Initially I was going to make just 1 lure and chuck the mould. Having second thoughts now! I reckon the Wahoo will love this lure!

Here is the plug we painted. Note in the beginning of the clip the angle it sits in the water. This is how you want all your poppers to sit.

those squid will be deadly for yellowtail in the shallow spots in the EC. do any companies sell a similar one?

Nope! One of a kind!

I lie though... Yozuri makes a lipped lure squid but it swims like a fish and not a squid. The Hydro squid or something.

@benniejordaan, guess im going to have to keep catching live ones. if you have any shallow water tail spots in kzn, say 3-8m give those squid a try, will be deadly, just remember to tackle up to stand up tiagra gear, 30 and 50lb or else your lures will get reposessed.
