Something Good / Birds Rock

Hope some of the PE anglers will read this.

Just very curious - does one still have as much fun on Birds Rock / Something Good rock after a bit of SE. As scholar and student we use to catch a lot of fish - raggies, Grey, bronzies , Diamonds , blue rays , Smooth hounds and when the water turned cold, the big thorny tails !!

Was back there about 5 years ago and was shocked to see two guys catching bronzies and killing to sell. Needles to say  i had a big argument with them about this. The one guy use to fish competitively in PE leagues.

How is Sunday surf. Does anybody walk up the beach and fish ? That coast must be stocked with fish after the banning of vehicles.

Beachview small surf - my favourite edible fishing spot - anybody fish there ?

About Sondags, I went to 1st bos and 2de bos with the boat about 2 weeks ago, fish was VERY GOOD, 1000% better than at st Croix. Cob was a bit scares, but thats to be expected this time of year.

Hey Arrie, don't know about the fishing there recently, but for sure, Something Good makes one of the meanest burgers in the whole of the country - have been for the last 30 years at least.
Only Tasties up here in JHB could compete, but they closed down.

And there I thought that waking up with a babbelas was the worst I could feel in any day.

It was bad enough when the Red Windmill had to make space of the pier.
That also, was a great fishing spot.
