African pike
Bream
Various labeo species
Various types of yellows (including a 10 plus kilo specimen by one of my mates)
Catfish
And these are just the ones on rod and line.
All collected for the National Fish Collection at SAIAB in Grahamstown.
A few undescribed species amongst our collection as well.
Awesome area, awesome fishing, very difficult to get to. And the threat of landmines keeps things more interesting than you need, as do the ak armed soldiers living in grass huts at our main fish collection point- but they were pretty friendly and curious.
