some camo-worm action

These fish were caught inside the port (not allowed to but whatever) after a trip..

Chummed the mullet into a feeding frenzy and then got some maasbankers, shad, santer, white steenbras, sand steenbras and sand soldier all on dropshot (worms)

Caught a sand steenbras on the slam worm, worked not quite as well as a gulp worm but still worked :)

There was a youngster on board fishing with a saltist 30 on a shimano beastmaster special tiger rod and he hooked into a beeeeg maasbanker (+- 45cm) that ran him around for a while and even took line off the saltist. Those mozzies are awesome to catch on light tackle!!! I only managed a couple small ones

here's my pics

@Enigma - those maasbanker are in my freezer, gonna feed them to a black ray when the 400/6 arrives! ;)

@Mike - dude, plenty!! and kingfish!! But the mozzies you only get when you chum a lot. That harbour is FULL of fish. Species I have seen in there with my own eyes

mullet (big)
shad (big)
garrick (tiny)
maasbanker (all sizes)
garfish (small)
kingfish (white)
blacktail (all sizes)
santer (biggest above)
strepie (all sizes)
zebra (smallish)
sand steenbras (all sizes)
white steenbras (small)
spotted grunter (all sizes)

and I know there will be - rockcod, kob, plenty sharks, plenty rays, probably baardman, definately stumpnose

I'd happily pay R100/day fishing there, its totally worth it!!
