Soft Plastics

If i use Berkley soft plastics to do normal fishing, will the fish take the bait or would i be wasting my time. Will the fish take the bait if the soft plastic is used in the place of chokka or pilchard for instance.

i have been trying to get an answer to that question as well, check the dropshot section there some info there. some other sites say the berkely stuff is just for dropshotting or spinning where u give the bait some action and others say that some of the plastics can be used in place of real bait but the best way to get a good answer is try it yourself.

I have tried the hard plastics to soft plastics.... i used the reddish 8" sandworm and caught a nice size st. joseph! and at arniston the greedy black tails went mad on the 6" power minnows. It is definetely worth the try especially when all you want to di is go down to the surf meet up with the guys and just drop a line in the water.
