Soft lure plastic substrate

Hi Guys

I have been sending PM’s to all the guys on the forum who make soft plastics as I dabble myself and am in a fortunate position to have a friend in Canada who makes lures under licence for some of the largest manufacturers in the USA. The substrate he uses is biodegradable, food quality and is FDA approved. I get the lure substrate from him way cheaper than from the other chemical companies in the states. We can get it a lot cheaper if we consolidate and bring it in, in bulk. I have calculated that we should be able to land it at R60 a litre which is way cheaper than anything we can get out of the states. I am already bringing in two 55 gal = +- 410 litres.

We need to set up a lure design competition, I will see if my mate is prepared to sponsor it, maybe winning design gets made and distributed in the staes and winner gets a royalty???

I’m good for 30 litres, if you guys let me know.

Cheers

Colin.

I'm trying to source this stuff for making SOFT PLASTICS in the UK but have been unsuccessful so far.Have been able to find some in France but shipping costs are unreal.

Still believe it should be obtainable in the UK but might be under a different name as we know it which is PLASTILEURRE STANDARD in France

Heres a link to the site,if you cannot read it because of the French google can translate it  http://www.bricoleurre.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1

Does anybody know it by a different name??

When you were in Moz recently Tauruck advertised on the forum to sell all his equipment for R20k.

Whether it happened, I don't know, but he disppeared from the forum after that.

Hi Guys

I have some arriving from Canada on friday. I only ordered 5lt containers and they work out to R80 a litre, which is good for about 700 six inch worms. Let me know if you are interested. I also have colouring etc. Send me a PM for further detail, thanks.
