fish in the bay in the early mornings and late afternoon until dark,depending on the tide walk out on the rocks rite to the left hand point,throw 5-7 inch minnow and retrieve as fast as you can,we have caught many a kingie in this spot.watch out for the waves and if you do get stuck out there just jump in and swim back..This is a picture of the point to stand on

The spot where the photo of Keegz and his buddy was taken from, in the corner of the bay right in front of the dive charter "lapa's" is good productive spot around time of sunrise, for juvenile Kingies (sometimes not so juvenile), but before the boats start launching and the bay gets busy. Best to fish on incoming to high tide.
The spot on the rocks where Keegz and his friend is fishing from is also good, but be careful that an incoming tide does not catch you unaware's there. Just to the left of the photo is the Pulpit (rock point) sometimes visible at very low tide - this spot is good for Kingies on dropshot, poppers, plugs and spoons. A slowish but jerky retrieve along the bottom with dropshot sometimes produces nice snapper, but please remember to release if you hook a Snapper.
The beach towards the South in front of Mseni Lodge area also produces good Kingies on dropshot and plugs, and if you can reach/cast towards and reach the rock ledge in the surf zone (you'll recognise when you get there and see) you can also pick up nice Snapper. Access that stretch through Mseni Lodge's grounds where there is a wooden walkway and steps down to the beach.

I have also fished that exact spot 2 years ago april month, with boats all over, I had 10 casts with 10 takes lost all 10 to the rocks.
Got them on hole pilchard with massive hook and very heavy line. Thing was i could only get them to take very close to me about 10 foot away because of the boats. Heart breaking stuff but i will never forget watching them hit my bait and holding on!!!
Im going there again this weekend, hope they arround and il give the early morning trick a try.
