So, what happend this weekend?

I was supposed to go Cow shark diving with Linda and the rest of the crew of Freedive Cape Town on Friday. After checking out the dive site we however decided against it as the South Easter whipped the sea into a real foul mood.

After that I made up my mind to concentrate on the rock and surf thing this weekend but blanked horribly


If anyone dived the stretch Hangklip to Gordonsbay on Sunday let us know as conditions were epic.

Blouberg side had very little viz so i kept myself dry the weekend

We dived it on Saturday when it was still a bit murky. Linda, who is new to spearfishing, shot the biggest butterfish I have ever seen. Got to see a big ray. Not a great dive in terms of fish, but having Herbert Nitsch in the water with us made up for it. Keep your eyes open around Seapoint for ze Herbert. He is here for a couple of weeks.

That guy's bottom time is crazy. Linda and I were having full length conversations while waiting for him to surface.
