Sounds like a plan to me! Just not in Jan as it is my wife and daughters birthday and moola is something like the dinosours. lol.. Man since u mentioned the douglas trip at komandodrift i was very keen and that is a trip whe have to do!! Dirk find out were the farm is so that whe can do some research please boet.

Ons sal maar moet spring as ons gebruik wil maak van die moontlik gap om op EFA vol 3 (Extreme Fishing Adventure) se DVD geskiet te wil word. Hy wil einde Januarie begin skiet aan die DVD maar ek is redelik seker as ons aanboord spring sal hy dit bietjie uitstel. Ek is ook verseker uit vir Januarie, lol.

As die EFA ding nie uitwerk nie moet ons kyk na April (dalk paas naweek, wanneer is dit?) daar by Douglas. Volgens die maan fases sal die beste tyd vir ons wees rondom die 10 de April. Dis 'n Woensdag maar as ons net oor 'n naweek kan gaan sal die 5 de tot die 7 de die beste naweek wees. 'n Ander baie goeie naweek sal wees 8 Maart tot 10 Maart en daarna die naweek van 12 tot 14 April.

I will maybe go but I am hoping for a trip to de hoek that weekend for a birthday present.How does the moon influence the fishing skuimkop?

Cats don't like light. So the best time for us to target the big boys is when there are no moonlight as well. Some call it new moon some call it dark moon. I also check when the moon sets and when it rises and work my trips out accordingly or what time I will target them. Again, don't even bother with the moon if you are going to use a head light or make noise on your session or if you are going to be close to someone elses. Even the slightest bit.

Ps: We do use the head lights which has got the Red LED function but away from the water and very discreetly.
