So im on the verge of buying a rod from a friend of mine, it's just been laying around.
It says Fish King on it and apparently has been built by Dave Alcock.
I have no knowledge of this and would like any more info please.

Maybe a pic or 2 would be able to give us more to work with...

Being a custom rod "Fish King" was probably the owner's nickname, guys like having their rods"marked" when they do custom jobbies...

Most probably a custom build by the Alcocks down here in PE.
Best ask your bud for more specs... rating, blank used etc...
