So I was wondering how to make my Army H-Frame lighter and up came the idea of building a new one from aluminium and that is how it started.
I had some ali pipe and the building started, it took me about an hour to bend all the parts and another hour to weld it. I took it in for anodizing and now she is 90% complete, just need to fit my box and then she is done. It weighs nothing, if 1KG it would be allot.
My cost, R150 for anodizing.::S

All type of colors from pink, purple, gold, silver, red, green, black and the list goes on and on...

Done it at Zanco when I see you I will let you know were it is.

Guys, you can take any aluminium frame to an anodizing place and they will do it for you, it protects the ali and looks good.
Just a note, if it is pipe frame make sure all holes are closed or well open.

If the acid gets trapped in the tube and the dye is added the acid sometimes escapes and lifts the dye making marks. This does not effect the anodizing but only the color.

Lekka H-Frame Mark, it feels nice to do things yourself and you did an amazing job. All I've done to my standard Army frame is put a bigger box on it. I must say thought I can fit allot of stuff on and inside of mine and it still holds up. Take a look at this picture. A flippen heavy load.
