So I decided to take a drive this morning to check out the water, armed with the most beautifully ripened batch of redbait... Well, first cast I missed a fish, second cast I lost a beaut in the bricks.finaLly I landed a 31cm fish, (tagged) .
Then I hooked a solid 40cm fish, wich was bagged.
I got another 2 fish out, including a 37cm fish that I've also tagged.and then... I lost a bus fish, struggling to pull it over the reef...(Its worse whenyou see the fish!)Lol
The water picked up very quickly and became nice and strong, feeling a bit bruised in the ribs and legs from taking a dive or 2.
But still, a good, solid hard days fishing!I LovE it!

hi Stinkmossel...I am always amazed at how easy you make it to catch Galjoen...I then realise that you actually put lots of hard work into it.

Well done.

Fishing with Rean is like 'kamikazi' style fishing....

Hint...Brused ribs and legs from a fall, Cut shin from a tumble, etc...

In your words....GAME ON

Thanks johnny, it was a 5 hour session. You don't put your rod in a rod stand, and you are constantly on the move. But its fun!

Agreed, Rean, I never use a rod stand - unless it's to bait up and my favourite spots don't allow for a rod stand! With gallie catching not much time to chit chat either...

By the way, nice car in the background ;)

Oh and nice gallie's too (as always)

I have literally been told that I scare people when I fish
But yesterday, Rean was about 50m further out than I was, Lol
