So Carlos makes good on his promise to make contact.

His problem, the Kingies patrolling the beach are just out of reach of the 9' and to close to safely get after them with the boat.

That's the problem and the solution we have is the 4m multi modulus Blue Marlin 3 piece 4m rod. Blended T53/24 tip (more 24) Blended mid section and T53 base.

Plenty power for casting but a softer action in the tip to stop the burn on the finger.

We decided against a Bionic finger as it's more a hassle than a pleasure when casting and only really comes good when power casting more than 6oz and bait

As they're going to be spinning with Braid from the surf we decided to go with the K-Series (anti-fouling) Concept guides from fuji with matt finish and all weather X-Flock and Fuji reel seat.

Kingies, Beware, King Carlos is being armed................

Heavy duty SIC (Alconite) tip.

The rod is 95% finished, just the touch up Flexcoat second layet to finish off, all guides are sealed to the foot with flexcoat preventing salwater and rust build up on the foot below the binding.

I used one of those 10' Customs I built for you and threw a 3oz bullet spoon 156m on 10lbs (actual 15lbs) Jerry Brown) don't know where this beast of Carlos will put a spoon down

Hi,

What size grinder would you use with that rod?

That rod would be nice to catch natal snook, just out of reach

For a normal spinning rod.

Reel on the rod?

Ants has an Ultegra 5500 on his. Not sure about Karlr

I use it with a Tica Scepter 1000. The Cedros II 8000 will also work well.

The daiwa 4500 will also do the job

Stradic 5000 would be empty after a cast

Hi Plonker

I have the same rod and its a fantastic rod. I use a Shimano Saragosa 6000 and it is

well blance. I think any 5000 or 6000 series would do the job.
