I'm very interested to find out what everyone else finds to be the best, tick all that applies to the snorkel that you use

Anyone use the reef inferno or the cressi corsica?
Thinking of upgrading from my makro special^^..
Hey MM,

I use the inferno. My previous one had a fancy...ish anti splash at the tip with a concertina section and a purge valve at the bottom. I loved it... Until the purge valve malfunctioned in the middle of the dive. I managed to fix it and continue the dive. Me mate Eckart said I should try using the old school "J" snorkel. I did! I got the Inferno. I like the flexibility, especially when it gets snagged on kelp. It just takes it in its stride. I tried (once only) to go back to my old snorkel. Holy moly! I struggled to breathe! So restrictive!

Most of us know the Acronym "KISS". For this who don't, it stands for Keep It Simple Stupid.

I do have my eye in a "J" Snorkel with a wider bore though! Wider bore = wider diameter. Breating is king! I have used a piece of kelp to breathe through on occasion, but its gross!

That's my 5c.
Cheers,
L

Thank you for the replies guys, you have saved me a lot of money :fbash
The advice from people actually using the equipment far outweighs that of a sales rep

Safe diving
