Braidedspearo are there any boat launching sites in your neck of the woods that are pretty easy launches and if not how productive is the spearfishing in your area if you go off the beach. Also is it a heavy swim through surf to get to reefs? Thanks.

Ya boat launches are easy ... obviously if you wanna Launch like a monkey in sizable swell you will get a drilling!!! ... I shoredive all the time it depends what i want... if i want an easy dive i sit on a point...(garick and pelagic) if i wanna go to gym... i open reef dive (reef fish) ... i dont have the balls to go out in 4-6 foot waves... then i surf ...its more pleasant!

RULE number one if you see dolphins the pelagics are gone/eaten!

Rule number 2, if you dive in the green with 2meters or less you wont see the pelagics in time, specially the garrick they fast buggers.

Rule number 3 if you stay in long enough it gets very productive ...

ya but Ballito is way better base and Vidal is up the road, and durban is down the road... the only thing close to St. Lucia is R-Bay and the kiff sulphuric aroma of Mondi and Foskor! If you been to london paris new york then Kwabo will be a good place to stop off for a picnick on your way back from Vidal!
