so i took 2 weeks of at work to go to Worcester for my wedding...the wedding was AWESOME the honeymoon was....
anough about that...so just before i hit the road back to pretty GP,my dad, my swaer and I went to the Breede river to get us some smallies...
the weather was great the water perfect. my dad and swaer was nailing them left right and center. it was them pre school ones that was beating the big mammas to the lures...
i tried every lure in my box, no luck...nada, nothing!!!
went to another spot, 1 cast..BANG fish on...ive read alot about catching smallies and eveybody in evey artical use the words "and HOLD ON to your rod"...i thought bla bla bla, i caught bass/carp/barbel/yellows....so it cant be THAT different..boy was i wrong...it nearly pulled my rod out of my hand when it striked!!! and it went for a few runs that made me think this cant be a smallie.....
well i got it out, 1.5kg. not my biggest but DEFF the best fight it had with a smallie... my dads biggest was 1,4kg and then a number of smaller ones!!!
