small dam

I drove past New Market race track in Alberton today and spotted a dam there, does anyone know if a person can fish there.

I HEARD OF A COUPLE OF GUYS FISHING THERE BUT AS FAR AS I KNOW IT IS NOT SAFE LOT OF FISH THERE

Was there this morning. Dont think there is much carp in the dam but have seen a couple jump. There are bass caught a couple this morning biggest just under a kg. Safety i dont know we have fished there till after 8 at night and never had problems was there at 4 this morning. But we are always 2 or 3 guys. Wont say it is the safest but never had any problems. Started fishing there only 2 months ago.
