just a question, is that float just tied directly to the line with cotton? How do you prevent it from sliding up the line away from the hook?
In post 81 there is a space between the float and the hook, normally i'd secure the float to the hook with cotton and sometimes with a tooth pick through the eye, if it's away from the hook it just slides up the line. How do you prevent that?

Thanks in advance

When tieing the float to the line wind the cotton around the line aswell on both sides of the float a couple of times
