SLSR vs SR

My previous boat were registered and issued a number, SR****C

(I were under the impression that SR is short for Sport and Recreation)

Now I got a SLSR****C number for my boat.

All i can find in samsa documents is that SL is a club prefix for St. Lucia,

And SR prefix for numbers issued by sadsaa to boats of non-club members.

Can anyone clear this up?

I'm totally confused:?

Have no idea as my reg is a PE number PEY***C.
The only thing I can think of is SL = St Lucia and the SR = Sport and Recreation adding up to the SLSR****C.

But other than that I am not sure.

The old SR numbers were not for a specific area and the numbers became too large, so the number changed to indicate where it was issued.

SRE is Eastern province.

The SL is probably the area it was issues, but I do not have the info with me.

PEY is a club number, issued to PEDSAC

Hi Kawie

kingfish is right the first 2 letters are for which club your boat is registered the SR is for Sport and Recreation
So SLSR****C would stand for Saint Lucia Sports and Recreation ****is the Registration Number, C  the Licence catogory in this case Cat C(15NM)
