Sliding Hooks????

Hi all

What is the best hooks to use for sliding?

Pricing got MAD on the 10/0 hooks and then is for small QTY of 4 & 5.Can we buy them in bulk.

I like to fish with Gamaktsu.10/0 hooks cost R75.00 and then you only get QTY 4!

What do you gays think?

Try the Denso 12/0 (same size as the traditional 10/0)

Caught fish up to 224kg on them without failure. Heavy enough guage and chemically sharpened hooks. New to the market but Khan will be sure to have soon.

Should retail around R60 for 10.

You'll also never go wrong with the good old kendal round but need some sharpening

Didnt want to say it before but it seems as if your "a" and "u" are too close on your keyboard.

HMGLAPPIES - send me a mail : rockhustler@telkomsa.net , i will see what i can get you on a bulk buy.It will always depend on your budget.

this is the hooks that i use, which is the kendal round 4826A. But there are so many good ones out there its always good to know how much you want to spent first.

Enigma has told you about the denso 12/0 as well so you might be spoilt for choice.

cas it becomes a very expensive business if u get burnt off
hooks R120
slide R25
wire R5
bait R20
sinker R15
so in one go u lose R180.....hooked, ure a rich man........

I make a special point of not getting burnt off and landing all my sharkies hahahahaha

Spend the money on a good hook.

You are lucky if you only get one big pull on an outing and you don't want to loose it because of price.

Consider Mustad Hoodlum.
About R30-R40 for two or R 250 to R 300 for a pack of 25.
Size 8/0 to 11/0
