When hooking, you've got to try bear in mind that the point of hooking it this way is to make the bait look as natural as possible. Fish don't swim backwards last time I looked!

Reefman - I presume the same goes for doing a Mackrel Slide Bait?

Hey No weeds,

Dean and i fished at Grotto yesterday.Lines in at approx 08h00,Dean put a mullet bait first throw,caught a Vaalhaai of approx 15kg.I struggled to get a pull using fresh Mackerel.I eventually got Cowshark of 40kg.Water very cold otherwise conditions great.We started getting more pulls as the tide turned.Barometer 1014.

Been really, really busy, but haven't stop casting an eye on what up in the discussions (perving the sealine site).  No problem with you Uncle John dilemma - My lips are sealed.
