Does anyone know where the closest place for me would be to do skippers Cat R. Im from kommetjie in western cape.

Cat R? If you going to do it why not just do the cat C/B instead?

I did my Cat B in Gordon's Bay through Pieter Welgemoed. That is if Gordon's Bay is not too far for you to travel for a day...
