I need to polish my skiboat to get rid of the dull layer ontop and then I want to protect it with a layer of wax.

Im in Pretoria area and would appreciate if someone can point me in the right direction for a good product.

You have a Davidson’s shop in Pretoria west that sells fiberglass resins and glass sheeting and other . I bought from them a coarse polish paste to remove oxidized gel coat . It worked the best . Then I firstly bought a orbital polisher from Adendorff - it’s large blue one with speed regulation . Was on R 890 . It’s an excellent tool but you must watch not to burn the gelcoat ! Then in later stage I bought a Rupes big foot professional random orbital polisher . That machine makes a job done in no time on Seacat 565 but it costs a lot .
Polish - I tested few and I found a very good if not the best at Ravenol in Cape Town . It’s called Auto Glym Super Resin Polish and Auto Glym extra gloss protection. It’s worth the money as it’s protects for very long time . Once a year , you will be good .

get cutting cream p1 and work those elbows!!!

great for cleaning stainless steel too.

it works marvelous.

orbital sanders do work great, but time consuming.

hard rubbing via elbow grease.....much better and quicker results
