Just a question to those anglers who has had both paired/used before.....
Is the Shimano Saragosa older model 5000 a bit larger than the Shimano Sustain 5000 ?
Thks

The black 5000 Sustain is a lot smaller than the 5000 Saragosa. Don't know which model is the old model, I'm referring to the all silver model. The Sustain is smaller than regular 5000 Shimano's and the Gosa is bigger than regular 5000's. Most well stocked tackle shops should have both models in stock.

Hi Dave.....thks for that info.
I have the black Sustain 5000 & its rather small, thus my reason for asking.
I have not had a chance yet to see the Gosa 5000 (Silver nor older model) to compare, but it just looks bigger at 1st glance.

I wish I can lay my hands on the older version Gosa.;)

Ben, the 5K Gossa is also a lot heavier then the 5k Stradic/Sustain...at least 250 to 300g more so keep in mind depending on your application

Howz Ant.....I imagined that the Gosa would be bigger & heavier....to my liking the Sustain (Black one) is a tad small on a 11' spin setup....thus the question.
