Great report Reefman.
Never fished Mozambique yet! This fishing thing is crazy yet we go back for more even if the conditions(fishing) was not that great.
I love the local North Coast especialy the Vidal , St Lucia area oh yeh and Mapalane. I was amazed by your luxury accom. Its a damn shame. Hope you gave someone your 99c worth . I was up at St Lucia a few weeks ago at the Namib Lodge great value for money and i found a few fish. Beasterly easterly from like you said 10am onwards R1880 5 nights self catering x 5 people
Returned home with a nice Pompano , 3kg but released the rest. Kingfish and queenfish averaging 1 to 1.5kg. Got the Queenies on s bend spoon. The rest on small CHOKKA BLOB baits. Fishing was slower than i've experience previously.
