Hi,
I was searching for a good price on a new Sustain or Stradic 5000.

What are these reels selling for at the moment?

Does anyone have a lead where I can source a reasonably priced one?

Anywhere in the country will do.

Get a stradic bradley...

Sustain is overpriced Imo. Besides the color there's not much difference between the 2 reels.

Your cheapest bet is to call cheapest fishing tackle in Durban first...

Bought mine there for a few hundreds less than all the shops in pe! Don't know the price of them now as I got mine last year...

Also try Arc `n Arms in King Williamstown - got a very good price from them on a 10 000 Saragossa.
The 8000 Stradic would be my choice.

What you paring the 8000 to?

I use it on a 12ft LOOMIS rod as well as a 13ft BM super slim rod (on the surf ) - feels better on the 13ft rod - very nice set up for kobbies and steenies .
My son got a nice big 15 kg blue ray on this rod last Saturday.

never found a shop that could beat Gani's prices. You wont be disappointed in the stradic.

Got my 5000 fj there for R1400, but that was nearly 2 years ago

i would recommend a heavier rod for the 5000, you can ask enigma about the sensation he built up for me. Not sure of the specific specs, but it matches perfectly to my 5000. Depends what you want to do with it though
