Shimano TLD 20/40s Spool Shaft Bushing to Bearing

Whats your take on replacing the Spool Shaft bushing with a bearing?:
pro's vs cons
is it a DIY job?
size of bearing?
price +/- of bearing?

best would be to take it(reel)to a bearing place and they will measure it for correct size,price depends on what kind of bearing you choose.Steel, s/steel or ceramic all different prices.price also depends on where you buy it.Hope it helps.
