How's the above for dropshotting from Surf?Any one used 10 foot before for dropshot.

What size reel can you recommend for this size rod?

The 10ft Exage is rated to throw 200g, thats a 7oz sinker!! Was definitely NOT designed for dropshotting... rather its a medium to heavy action surf spinning stick. There's plenty of info on the rod on the site, just do a search. Mine is partnered with an Exceler 4000...
