Actually, for the life of me I don't know why I sold any of them, but have restarted accumulating them again.
Very robust and well built reels, will not be parting with any of them...for now.

I have a very big desire for a DC for what I think it can do?
However, I don't know if my expectations will be met???
On paper it is a wonderful reel.

I have the trini 16 dc.
Heavy reel. But casts a light lure in windy conditions without any problems. Those lighter lures and plugs which used to cause problems dont anymore. You have to finely tune them in conjunction with the cast control knob. Beautiful reels! Just dont like the sound.

Lectrix and water don't mix....DC's arent meant to be waded with, if you load the rod correctly you kan waai the reel, with minimum setting.
As Don said they are a little heavier than the 30A's but you get the momentum quickly.

After a fairly hard season last year, I opened mine to service for the first time 2 days ago. Amazingly, not a drop or sign of water inside that reel. Still looked like new. It really is a well sealed reel. Even the drag system is so well sealed it prevents water coming in where generally it would. The dc system is very well coated too!
