Shimano 20/40 improvement

I have been informed that that the 20/40 retrieval can be improved fron 5,2:1 to 6.1:1 by changing the main gear and the pinion gear. Is this possible? Some advice would be appreciated

Just buy yourself a speedmaster and no changes will be necessary
