I know where a tn16 is lurking if you are interested. At a shop so brand new
What line are you going to put on that Trini16A?
Had a suspicion that is what you are using, hence why I asked.BTTB wrote:

.53 doublex extreme abrasion. Very good line. Super strong and really comes recommended....
Btw. Half spool of braid backing, then half mono.
Yes. Its done the job well. Fished it whole season on my one rod and yet to change leader( 130lbs braid) or any damaged mainline.
Just so that there is no confusion.
Double x Extreme abrasion(camo)
Double x Hi abrasion.
Two different lines. The extreme abrasion is the go , especially for our fishing. Its probably the most abrasion resistant line ive used and the strongest.
Are you going to put Magit kits in that Trinidad 16A?
One guy I know has a similar outfit, Trinidad 16A with Magit kits on a modified 110H (KR Series Guides) and the DoubleX 0.5 or 0.52 line in Camo colour.
I had a few throws with it and it is a sweet setup. He gets a few overwinds now and then, as we all do, but really a super combination.
Try a composite development blank, Graphcast 5.BTTB wrote:

I use the same setup for spinning for tail off the boat and find apart from the rod been a little too long for the boat that it works like a bomb and pulls the lips off any Cape Town tail! Keen to have a go at a yellowfin with it but think that long rod will break me
