My team departing for Protea ... we were allocated skippers and boats on a rotational basis ... day 2 had us fishing on Kevin's very nice and new 19ft Tom Cat CC

Hi HT,

In a word ... taxing! Lots of shark about as per usual ... see pic, that head weighed 16kgs.

We caught more big bonnies than Yellow fin,  I boated a few YF's but all fish caught in the comp were compartively small.

PS - trip was more expensive than anticipated as I ended up buying one of the boats I fished off ... was juuust too nice!

LOVE YOUR WORK...I THINK THERE WOULD BE MURDER IF I POPPED DOWN TO A COMP AND CAME BACK WITH A NEW BOAT!!! EVEN IF WE HAD WON IT SHE WOULD NOT BELIEVE ME!!!

Nice one. Better than a mombak and well, can you ever have enough boats?

Is that Kevin Smith holding up that YFT? I recognise that Bok Baard from a mile off..... That boy can fish, make no mistake on that!!!

Hi Nepps,

That is Kevin the rock hound... his new boat is in pic 1 "Chevy 2" ... he can indeed fish ... has more energy than a tail wrapped YFT.
