HI news from the South Coast.

Same story here the mess that people leave is not pleasant no wonder the general public get pi..ed off with fishermen.

Plenty of shad at most of the regular spots . Why is everyone now sliding bait it must be the new fad.

Keep on trying to keep the place clean.

I heard this morning that they were THICK yesterday at 11:00. Always when I am working....grrrrrr

Not much this morning, working now. I bet its thick again.
I hate fishing in those crowds, peeps have no clue how to use their brains. SPAGHETTI JUNCTION ala Uvongo

Lets all quit our jobs and live off the land.

The Shad are playing hide and seek at the moment. Orange rocks quiet likewise the Uvongo pier. The sea is very calm, some say that the shad like the rough water who knows. there have been at least 5 pickups on sliding shad but only one l Garrick landed. Rumour has it that some guys have been locked up for being in possession of 25 shad and more.

North of Sheppie seems to be pretty consistant.

Still no sardines.

The pier is getting repaired. they are taking off the flaking concrete and re doing the top surface. Its hard going as the old dagga and concrete  is of the old very tough type. Will keep you posted.

great stuff BrianA.

I have no compassion for these sea rapers.I say u lock them up and throw the keys away.Parkies must come down hard on these okes and I could not care who they are.

The Shad were thick a couple of days ago when I was in Uvongo. Caught two at St Mikes on a Rapala X-Rap slash bait. Okes were going on all around me. The shad were thick, all about 30cm-35cm.

I spoke to a guy who said that one morning a guy pulled 35 on spoon. He said he heard it from 3 different source so it is probably true.

If you going to the South Coast all you gonna get is shad! Gees I wish I was still there.

As I said quite a lot of pick ups including some salmon. It seems that the plan is to get some live bait at about 16.00 and then slide out at dusk.

Shad were thick at the uvongo pool this morning all big no ruler needed.

Sorry off to fish.

HI good fishing at the Rocks. Great action for the  Larny Manne with the sliding bait. BUT what a mess.

Margate pier update.

You can see the action is hotting up they have laid the first section of the new walk way and it looks good . that old concrete is proving to be a job to break up.

We will soon be fishing there again. I wonder if the GANG of old Farts will try to establish there  control again, may a little confrontation will be good for the blood pressure.

See you at the Rocks
