Thanks Christo! Then I'll rather stick with the 12ft rods. I do have a canoe to take them in luckly. Just fun to cast every now and then , but need a lot off practice to get it far.

The only time I find it really difficult to load the 12' Bazooka is when I am using a M0.

To load the rod with a M0 and a decent size bol (which you dont throw off) is quite tricky. I have to use a spring when throwing such a light sinker to get extra weight on the bol.

Hi there Guyes
I’ve got 2 13” bazookas and the are gr8. P4 and .25 line and you will go a long ling way.
The only thing I have against my bazookas is when you hit “tempo”.
There not the lightest rods on the market and angling hard through a club competition will turn you to paste.

But yes brilliant rods!!!!!!!!!!

I agree AMG, they are not the best rods when fishing tempo, the onther thing you have to remeber is there will be no tempo if you can't reach the fish.

That is why most bank anglers use 10ft, 12ft and 13ft rods. I love fishing with my beastmasters, but i prefer to use the 12ft tribals for most of my fishing.

Thanks Sukkel maar. Well if you need the exercise get yourself a Awa-shima V-max spod it is one of the heaviest 12” rods I have ever came across. The 4lb test weighs in at 550g and the 5lb 630g.
And they are excellent for casting big weights (P4-P6) long distances. But they are a bit more expensive.

Christo I agree, if you can’t reach them you can’t catch them. I think for the price and what you get you will have to go far to beat them.

Did you fish in the League finals on the weekend?
