Hi grootvis !

My own "MAG-IT" Trini 16A is fully loaded with the "old 30lb" Fireline which measures between 0.36-0.38mm diameter and is way nearer to 100lb than to the originally claimed 30lb.

I rigged it like that with a two rodlength 0.60 Maxima leader, specifically for steenies and can see no reason, why the reel can't do double duty for you there !

If you feel the need for a thinner diameter leader for the steenies (less side draught in rips & current), you could simply and quickly, remove the leaser and replace with a smaller diameter one. made up from clear Berkley Trilene Maxx, which offers a bit of shock absorbing stretch and awesome braking strength vs diameter !

Remember to check for stock with Mark in PE, before taking in your reels.

Cheers !

I made a mistake it will be 60lbs. Nah, I don't like using the reels for 2 different applications. You know me, full of the brown stuff at the best of times. Things have to have their place and perfectly optimised....:)

Hi Cuban

I recently purchased an "almost" new Torium 20 HG based on my enjoyment of the older Torium 14.   I'm not really an experienced caster and have the line tension dialed in medium tight for the 14 - but a few test casts on a field with the 20HG left me wanting.

I had a 4oz sinker on a 12.5ft posiedon and I had the tensioner dialed in all the way till it couldn't go anymore before I could control the spool.  I probably made about 80m at best, so hoping your MAG-IT product can help me here?

I'm based in Gardens, Cape Town.  How, how much and when can you help please?

Do you have a DIY kit available please?

Regards,
