SEE VEE 500 (Peters Watersports)

Bought a New See Vee 500 from Peters Watersports in October 2013. Only been delivered in Jan 2014 after I was told only 6 weeks to completion.

Boat was delivered with 20 plus snags ranging from HULL/TRAILER to Engine. Boat went back for repairs and came back 3 months later. They then dropped the boat of the trailer and damaged the Hull and Engine.

Claim no responsibility. Been to test it again this weekend and had total electrical failure.

Owned this boat for 11 months and only had it on the water twice.

Do not buy from these guys, you will be sorry. Private mail me for pics and reports.

Hi there, glad too see Im not the only person having problems with this company.

Took my boat there to have motors fitted, only to find a nice crack in the hull!!!

Boat has been there since July 2nd and is still there, because i dont want his staff to carry out the repairs as I the customer do not have faith in the workmanship.

Funny how on helloPeter.com he always blames the customers...or the customer is lying.

Definately not going to leave this.

A mate bought a 2nd hand butt cat from him a few years back. Had a new floatation cert etc. she sat so low in the water and with 2x85's she was sluggish. eventualy opened deck after about 6 months and she was so water logged and foam was shot. no way was a floatation cert ever legally issued.
i have heard to avoid like the plague.

Gotta love the public forum, S#it worms its way out of the woodwork eventually.. Thanks to sealine for the platform for this kind of stuff..Name and shame! You can't mess around on the sea, peoples lives are at stake!

I cant understand why others on the forums would get upset and knickers in a knot when people get named and shamed??? We all work bloody hard for our money and then to get shafted like this is so not on!!! I wish people had named and shamed upfront so this pain and suffering could have been avoided, never mind the travelling costs, closing of business to fetch boat, ect. I truly feel if you have been done wrong by a business it needs to be known to the public. And you right, it is OUR lives out there.

Did he ever take it up with SAMSA regarding the certificate, because who ever issued it should get nailed!!!

Thanks for sharing, unfortunately I have also had a bad experience there, luckily no money was involved just broken promises.

Just been on hellopeter, seems a bit of a dodgy dude!!!! Many negatives said about his business.....

I was just on hellopeter reading the comments for interest sake. He blames everything on the customers and can never admit any faults from their side. I'm grateful I will never be doing business with them.

I think Sealine would have to start a whole new webpage just for that, cause I think there are a lot more stories out there to "defend".

Hahaha... ja, been watching it on another forum, but rest assured, there's at least one in every town. They're kinda obligatory... Society's self appointed punch bags.
