Hi Guys

Let us see who is really going. I have seen many moaning and groaning that the jetski guys want to fish socially together. This is the time. We had dates a long time ago. I and Michel are going to have a ball. Plenty wahoo and sailfish already in the area. Come on let us know who is coming.

I wont be able to make it but I do have a house in Mar E sol above the campsite that can be rented. send me pm with you number and I will get my wife to call you. there are also other houses in complex for rent through an agent we can put you in contact with them.

Where do a person book for the campsite that is there right nex to the resturant by the launch site at ponta?

You can book camp sites at LM Travel 011-9182856. You would be able to get camp site as it is out of season. I know you can pay now at the gate. So bboking might not be necessary.

Big Van, I will be going to Ponta a bit earlier, will be there from the 31st with another guy from Durban, we will be staying in Motel da Mar and I am driving a silver Pajero Sport with a black yammi fx160 behid it, My tel nr is 0825660394, would be cool to talk to someone thats been there before to know what i might need to take with besides the normal, any tips welcome!

Sorry to ask this stupid question; For the Jet Ski, what papers do I need to fish in Mozambique? Do I need my skippers ticket, bouyency sertificate, fishing licence  and launching licence. Any help will be appreceated. Thx Jaco

Must have missed you there, weather wasnt so great so we left on the 7th I had to get back to Kazakhstan, but the fishing was great, the pinnacles is hot stuff! I will go back there on nearest opportunity

Let me know how you got on and what you got, we got quite a bit but no sailies or Dorado, lodas od tuna & bonnies and I got a nice kingy and attached a picture just to make the rest jealous ;)

Thanks, Not a single couta came out, I was a bit bummed for not getting any dorries  as well but will get them next time, used a pink halco, the same as in the  picture

Did you send any live bonnies down, thats usually a winner for couta, strange about the dorries, i'm sure they should be down by now

Ye I got taxed big time on the pinnacles but for sure the most fish there, didnt use any live bait (to much work) fishing time was limited because of the weather and the sharks would have killed us! That bonnie that got taxed was on the shoal btw, the same day I lost a saily, super gutted!!
