And the outcome is the "Groot Trek" Version 2(nothing to do with Trek netters), rather a mass exodus from the SA highlands to the mouth of the Umfolozi River, and a bunch of Province Supporters converging on False Bay.
Beneficiaries of this exodus are not only the wives and families remaining at home, Tackle dealers and bait suppliers, but also petroleum companies, tobacco companies and of course SABMiller. In recessionary times, this provides much needed stimlus to the local economy.
The Zululand and False Bay coastlines will resemble fields of bamboo, with the oceans being whipped into a froth by inbound sinkers closely followed by baits of all sizes. This also results in early christmas for the oceans denizens, being fed fresh and expensive baits - a piscatorial restaurant of sorts........
