Sea Star Hydraulic Steering

Hi guys.

I have a question about the hydraulic steering on your boats. I had mine installed obviously when I bought the boat from Atlantic Suzuki. I have done some research about the Sea Star and found that according to the installation instructions the cylinder should be mounted with the breather holes on the top. When I took delivery I was told that there is a little air in the system they cannot seem to get out but it should improve as the air moves up in the hoses. It never really did and that is why I started doing research. I include a photo of how the cylinder is mounted on my boat. Do you agree with me, it is the wrong way around? According to Sea Star website mounting it upside down causes air bubbles.

Hiya, I page the Hydrive Admiral owners manual today, but left it at office, the installation instructions is quite clear.

I had posted it on our other forum where someone was looking for fluid, think the basics will be the same.
