Hi Guys

I had the batteries changed on my watch and in doing so the tide chart on my watch is out by at least three hours.

does anybody know the coordinates for mosselbay?

Google Earth shows the break water light tower on the front of the long pier as 34° 10’30.35” S and 22° 08’49.26” E 2m . I’m not a GPS expert but hope it helps.

When I got my Seapathfinder I did a Google search which took me to a thread on Ultimate Angling but mine also seems an hour or 2 out so I need to check the settings again. Let us know if you come right and where you found the info.

Okay guys I have found the info that I needed.

what you need to do if you have the sea pathfinder like I do, you will need to hold down the top left button (adjust) then you will be able to change the time.

press the top left button again (adjust) than you will see GMT.
You can change this by pressing the top right button COMP or the bottom left button START to change the values
press MODE to toggle between GMT, LON and INT

for my area I had to input + 2.0 (GMT) and 22' East (LON) and 3:17 (INT)

Below is the intervals for the most important coastal destinations:


Inhambane +2 GMT 36ºE LON 5:26 INT

Xai-Xai (Inhaca) +2 GMT 34ºE LON 4:16 INT

Durban(N&S Coast, +2 GMT 31ºE LON 4:05 INT
East London)

PE(Cape St. Francis) +2 GMT 26ºE LON 3:33 INT

Mossel Bay +2 GMT 22ºE LON 3:17 INT

Simon’s Town +2 GMT 18ºE LON 2:43 INT
(Stuisbaai, Saldanha)

Swakopmund +2 GMT 15ºE LON 2:27 INT

I had a look at the tides and it looks pretty accurate.
