Sorry for the lait post i only saw it now.... Scottys is a funny place some times its cooking and some times its dead... i fish the point alot and so far i have had 3 kinds of Kingys caught there , garik, springer, wavegarik , gurnards, plenty shad ,kob and the list go's on, the best thing to do is just try the point on the bay side and the point with some gullys that can be seen... there is a rock call'd the old lady cast your minnow past it and reel it in as fast as you can kingys hang around there and dont take you lure out of the water to quickly because they will chase you right in to the white water... if you want to go for rockod just cast it past the old lady take care not to get stuck on her but let your minnow or what ever dropshot you will be useign sink and twitch in slowly on the bottem.. infront on the caravan park the are quite a few deep gullys that will give you hours of fun. i like to fish there with a flyrod and just flick small bits of sard as drift bait" you get a lott of fish in this way" please to note to throw back fish you dont intend eating or that are under size, i have ben fishing and diving there many years and let me tel you its not what it use to be so please just help in conserving what Scottys has left... tight lines JJ
