I think the sardine run is just a story invented by South Coast business's to promote the South Coast ! The coast line here is dead ! (Ifafa,Bazley). No Shad Garrick Snoek. Kids went out on the Jetski yesterday and got nothing (Lost MY dropshot rod and a gaff in the shorebreak). Son dived on Friday and saw nothing to shoot, got some bugs. Spearo came in yesterday with a Catfaced Rockcod and two Bronze Bream,hardly an amazing outing. Another cottage owner has been here since last Friday and says he has not seen any activityat all. Team NGK have been here taking tiny Blacktail,Karranteen, Cape Moonies etc all day. I think the window of opportunity is fast closing for the Sardine Run.
