Here are some reels i did for Ridwaan gone to Arniston today with the CTRS guys. Look at the corrosion inside the reels, typical of poor quality grease offering less than ideal protection. Also look closely at the pictures you will see the same translucent grease drying out and showing signs of crystalization the worse thing for your reels, this means the base oil is drying out, incorrect grease for salt water exposure. When this happens you have zero corrosion protection you have gauling as one clearly can see also, look at the screw inside the cage of this saltiga clearly also showing galvanic corrosion in progress, the worst news for any metalic reel. All this encourages the dstruction internally of you reels. This is why i invest a lot of money constantly to ensure i use only the very best products for your reels. Ia absolutely passionate about what i do this is what makes me and my work different to everyone doing reels.  check out my facebook page jonathans reel repair and upgrades

Check the grease cacking, ie drying out forming salt crystals that eat you reel away from the inside, the worst thing ever to see for me.
