hi guys bought some saltiga boat braid for the boat , want to know if i can use it for spinning of the surf as well

i have got Whiplash on my reels , for jigging ect ect , i were a bit confused about the whole braid VS braid thing , so i just parted with the cash and just today ordered 2 more spools mmmmmmmm.
