1309sg.....Okay,okay you got me..... I am at work but also online with Sealine all the time...LOL!! ::S

Saldanha:

Driving into the town, there is a caravan park,in front of that you can pick up Kolstert,Stumps and if you get lucky and you see harders jumping, throw a spinner..Yellowtail do swim by close in shore,if you look towards Saldanha steel, there is a wreck, look good as it is going under sand and you can just see it,there are some big Kolstert there you will have to walk over the sand dune, but dont worry your car is safe....also all along this beach you can fish for kolstert and stumps, and even get a Kob or two if you luckey.. Driving into the harbour go through the second gate right by the fish factory ( also look to your left you will see a pier fishing from here is okay and you do get your stumps there and a lot of skaamhaai good fun for the kids),drive towards that look out point there or fish the basin you see as you drive in,here on low tide you can pump prawn and get some good stump comming out aswell as kolstert,at the mussel vlotte by the blue or green drum you see there, you can pick up Stump ,fish here on lowtide,if you want drive along the long wall, right to the end, here you will get Kob,elf, stumps, vaal haai and bronzies...this place is rocky so make sure you have plenty sinkers...and be carful it does get a bit hair raising sometime's... Best bait is sards, prawn, mussel, chokka and worm...

Okay now for the spots South of Jacobs up to Saldanha .....

I have fished Jacobsbaai for Kob,and Elf aswell as Hottentot,I did make a fishing spots on a map in a post before but this was just Jacobsbaai... I have seen and heard that the fishing South of Jacobs is good spot for Galjoen,Hotentot fish, and can get pretty rough at times,as I said I have never fished South of this spot yet so wont be able to give you the spots to go to.... but would love to go give it a go to see how good a spot it really is as there have been many stories, and you know how a fisherman can make a klipvis into a Kob...LOL!!! I,ll do some calls and send some emails and see if any of the guys in my club have fished there and let you know as soon as I can...

Any way tight lines to you all this weekend,I,ll be dreaming of fishing and well thats all I can do....hope this all helps and puts you on the fish...
