fish slow and small at the moment... hopefully things will pick up soon... the fishing has been very tuff... the winning fish all came fro the big grass bank in the main dam ...

Get into the main lake and fish the lillies near the eskom pylon (it is on the right as you enter the main lake). Baby fluke with a split shot near the nose... oh and colour of fluke.... watermelon red. If that doesnt work, fish the edge of the grass (12 foot) straight ahead when you go through the neck into the main lake (texas brushhogs and mojo flukes) Hope that helps.

RDW get's tough when the sun get hot, you have to capitalise in the morning and I would suggest frogs in the morning and then when it get's host SLOW DOWN with Jnr Flukes and Senko's. Also try deeper water when the sun is hot like Deciever suggested 6-12 foot with Brush hogs and again Senko's

BB - I haven't fished there for a long time, but I was pretty successful at the overflow on the right of the main dam wall (used to be reeds and under water vegetation there). Fished shallow in the early morning, and the fish would move deeper as it got hotter. Also caught some good fish on the bank opposite the boat launch, moving from the bay towards the main point.
